badmarket.ingHonest marketing, by people who can't market.

We are software engineers. Ten of us, in Tbilisi. We like things simple. We are bad at marketing, and every attempt to get better at it made us sound like someone else.

So this is the page a marketer would never let us publish. Everything they would cut is left in. Nothing crossed out was removed. Look.

What we built

The cloud computer for agents. Deploy anything in seconds. The last platform you'll ever need.

A cloud hosting platform called usectl. From bare metal up. Database, object storage, sockets, backend, frontend, deploy, backups, a CLI, one bill. We built it because every project we ran meant Postgres here, S3 there, the frontend on one platform, the backend on another, agents on a third. Ten dashboards. Three projects at a time. Only two of us could untangle it when it broke.

Why it's not one feature

Every founder we asked said: pick one feature, sell it, add the next later. We believe them. We couldn't do it. Nobody wants a database with nowhere to put the app. Hosting is the whole thing or it's nothing.

So if you're a marketer and you know how to niche this down, the form is at the bottom. We will take it seriously.

Who it's for

A small team, several projects, one person who knows the servers and nine who don't. Today every one of us can build a full app and ship it alone, devops or not. That's the feature.

Who it's not for: people who need a US region today, people who want a dashboard for everything, teams that already have a happy devops person and a happy bill.

What we believe

If anyone can build their own tools in a weekend, selling software gets harder every month. The software stopped being the moat. The place it runs is. We'd rather be the place.

And the best marketing move we've found is the one that needs no skill: say what's true, including the parts that don't help.

Try it, or tell us how to sell it.

The log

We also run a company with an AI agent, in public, with every step timestamped: runbyagents.usectl.com. This page will be updated the same way. Every change to it, with the date, at the bottom.
